Nestled in the heart of the Hidden Valley, Cuyama Buckhorn has been a roadside pitstop since 1952. Here you’ll find the best Santa Maria tri-tip for miles, a bar with an innovative cocktail menu, and fresh baked pastries to pair with a cup of Canyon Coffee. Whether you’re rolling out of bed or finding us after a long day on the road, our doors are open with a seat waiting for you.

The Restaurant

A roadside restaurant for the ages, offering all-day dining inspired by the local bounty. Slide into a diner booth with panoramic views of the Caliente mountains or dine under The Garden’s shady ash tree, there’s no bad seat in the house.

HOME GROWN Our Garden grows each year, sprouting with new flavors and providing our kitchen with produce that’s as local as it gets.

The Garden

The latest addition to the Cuyama Buckhorn ecosystem. Cultivated by Sandra Uribe, Victory Gardens Coordinator and Land Steward and at Blue Sky Center, our garden grows seasonal produce that makes its way to our kitchen and onto your plates.
